How Waqf works at IBW
International British Waqf (IBW) is a new partner organisation of Human Appeal, an international aid and development charity based in the UK. It aims to increase the value of Waqf donations in order to have a greater positive impact on people in need around the world.
IBW invests Waqf shares in the UK and abroad, focusing on investing in real estate and projects that have a social impact. This goal is achieved by funding charitable projects using revenue from these investments.
